Korean designer 노-수민 has also created a modular cat furniture system that features multifunctional modules for humans and cats to enjoy. Aptly dubbed Me;ow, the design consists of colorful differently shaped cushions that link together using a secure fastening mechanism to form various furniture configurations.

The sofa-like modules have various integrated cat-specific features. The rectangular unit is a scratching board that doubles as a seat rest for humans, to which a cylindrical module can attach and function as an armrest, while serving as a fun tunnel for cats to lounge or play.

Standalone modules work as buffers between the multifunctional pieces to provide more cushion space for both humans and their pets. Me;ow even features a side table unit with an integrated bed below where cats can get their snooze on.

Guacal by Andrés Cáceres

Developed by Italy-based designer Andrés Cáceres, Guacal is an innovative cat carrier that doubles up as a stool for humans. The lower section has transparent panels that support the entire structure and let the user keep an eye on the pet during transportation, while the upper section features a wooden base, which makes a sturdy seating area. When the panels are separated from the main structure, the carrier quickly transforms into a handy stool.
