The first longboards were made by Preston Nichols in the 1940s as an alternative to surfing when the waves were too dull. Early skaters built dangerous, improvised boards out of planks of wood and roller skates. Today, product designers and longboard enthusiasts come up with innovative designs that turns a ride into a real adventure.

Trashboard is an eco-friendly skateboard crafted from a combination of reconditioned carbon from aircrafts and recycled cardboard. The composite material ensures a lighter, more flexible, and more high-performing product, while preserving the authentic sensations of traditional wooden skateboards. Moreover, each skateboard is 100% recyclable.

Cross-country adventures are made possible through the self-leveling suspension and automotive-grade shock absorption system. Besides, the off-roading capable water-resistant longboard boasts a higher riding position and huge wheels for a better grip on the surface, without compromising balance and agility.

The longboard is powered by 12AH lithium batteries and can achieve a top speed of 40 kph and goes up to 35 km on full charge. With an included handheld remote, the user can take it for a spin in 4-speed modes and 4-braking modes. Moreover, the remote displays all the information necessary for the rider, from the battery level to the real-time speed.

According to the team, the longboard can support up to 100 kilograms of weight. It is equipped with two 750W belt motors, giving the rider a speed of up to 42 kph. Its 185 Wh long-range battery charges up to 80% in just 40 minutes and allows the longboard to cruise for up to 22.5 km on a single charge.

The board comes with an external remote with a wrist strap, allowing the user to set their speed, activate the mini headlight, and monitor the battery level.
