To help reduce reliance on single-use plastics, designer Roni Kabessa created the BYO bottle, which features a detachable steel spork and telescopic steel straw cleverly integrated into its side. This innovative design allows users to eat and drink anywhere without the need for disposable cups and cutlery. Additionally, a hidden compartment in the bottle’s base offers a secure space for storing essentials like cash, keys, snacks, teabags, earbuds, spare change, and medications, minimizing the number of items you need to carry.

Described as the “Swiss Army knife of bottles,” the BYO bottle is compact, practical, and incredibly versatile. With its patented design, it holds 24 fl oz—ample for a day’s hydration while remaining slim enough to fit in most cupholders.

The insulated Grade A stainless steel construction ensures that hot drinks stay hot and cold drinks remain chilled, while the wide mouth allows for easy addition of ice cubes. The detachable stainless steel spork is great for all types of food, from soups to snacks, and the telescopic straw is perfect for sipping and stirring.

Carrying the BYO bottle around is effortless thanks to its wide handle and sleek design, which easily fits into a backpack’s bottle sleeve or a car cup holder. The rubber-lined bottom also helps prevent accidental spills, making it a convenient companion for any outing.

All-Day Adventure Flask by Hibear

Mark Tsigounis from Hibear has partnered with Matic Lenaršič and Jernej Koželj of TAK Kolektiv to create a versatile outdoor drinking solution: the All-Day Adventure Flask. This innovative bottle simplifies outdoor hydration by allowing you to prepare and enjoy various beverages without the need for extra gear.

The flask features an insulated stainless steel body that doubles as a thermos keeping colds cold and hots hot. Its clever split-body design enables one to easily unscrew the top and invert it, transforming it into a wide-mouth pour-over kit for coffee. One can simply add a filter and grounds for fresh coffee on the go, and the same setup works perfectly for decanting wine. Inside, a non-breakable glass finish ensures easy cleaning, prevents metallic tastes, and inhibits mold growth.

A mesh container lets one infuse water, brew tea, or cold-brew coffee, while the slatted lid converts the flask into a cocktail shaker. For those moments when one desires a chilled drink, the thermal core fits snugly inside, cooling beverages without ice dilution. The user can drink straight from the flask or use the silicone tumbler that pops out from the base—perfect for sharing with pets.

When heading out on a hike, three essentials are a water bottle, a light source, and a compass. Indian industrial designer Anantvijay has ingeniously combined all three into a single item: the Beacon Bottle for Hikers.

Constructed from lightweight polyethylene terephthalate, this innovative bottle serves as both a hydration vessel and a reliable light source. It features a compass integrated into the polypropylene cap, minimizing the number of items one need to carry, and the handle is designed for easy transport and can be attached to a backpack.

The bottle’s textured surface ensures a secure grip, while the light-emitting component at the bottom can be easily detached using a threaded mechanism. When removed, it functions as a standalone light source. Plus, the Type-C charging port allows the device to be used even while it’s charging.
